{"id":472,"date":"2005-09-23T23:49:00","date_gmt":"2005-09-24T06:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dreness.com\/blog\/?p=472"},"modified":"2019-12-07T17:10:26","modified_gmt":"2019-12-08T00:10:26","slug":"serenity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dreness.com\/blog\/archives\/472","title":{"rendered":"Serenity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I very rarely go out of my way to recommend things like movies or tv shows, but tonight I will make an exception.<\/p>\n<p>I just finished watching the last episode of Joss Whedon&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/B0000AQS0F\/qid=1127543288\/sr=8-1\/ref=pd_bbs_1\/104-6326546-0627124?v=glance&amp;s=dvd&amp;n=507846\">Firefly<\/a>, and I am seriously in awe. It&#8217;s the best sci-fi I&#8217;ve experienced, by any measure.<\/p>\n<p>I hadn&#8217;t even heard of it until recently, when Damon recommended it very highly. One of the downsides to having no TV is that occasionally I miss out on amazing stuff like this &#8211; until it comes out on DVD.
